Last month, I was asked to join other health and fitness bloggers within the UK for the ultimate #MultipowerBakeOff.



Normally, I don’t cook all that much (let alone bake) but I knew that it was something I had wanted to do much more off, so took upon this opportunity to kick my butt into action!

I am all about the quick and easy path when it comes to food prep. There is nothing I hate more than standing over the stove, watching my food to cook.

As I am always on the go and, of course, still wanting a healthy lifestyle, I came up with a recipe that included organic, nutritional rich ingredients for fitness fanatics like me; that only took a matter of minutes to prepare. Of course baking time took a little bit longer, but dinner always comes before dessert, right?!


I have placed the recipe below, please have a go and let me know how you get on! This can be changed up and used with many different ingredients… There are so many choices! The recipe is also vegan (without protein) which is great for plant based diets.

Protein Coffee Caramel, Walnut & Chocolate Brownies.


Separately, 1 cup of rye flour and 1 cup of Multipower 100% Pure Whey Protein – Coffee Caramel
1 cup of water
1 cup of coconut sugar
1/4 cup of dried instant caramel flavoured coffee
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
3⁄4 cup of organic cocoa powder
1⁄2 cup rice bran oil
1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
1⁄2 cup of walnuts
1⁄2 cup of cocao nibs



Prep time – 10/15 minutes

Baking time – 30 minutes

Pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees C.
Coat a non-stick baking tray with pure free-from butter (or equivalent) to prevent mixture from sticking to the pan.

Heat 1 cup of flour and water in a saucepan, stirring regularly. This should be a thick and sticky texture.
Mix the rest of the ingredients in a separate bowl with a whisk until fully combined.

Pour the water & flour mixture into the mixing bowl and continue whisking until fully bonded.

Place in the baking tray, and bake for 30 mins (checking for firmness at around 25 mins).

Remove from the oven, and leave them to set for 2 hours before storing then in the fridge.

Decorate and cut into bite size pieces.
