March is the month of my BIRTHDAY and it tends to be filled with celebrations! This time around, it isn’t quite the same due to what is going on in the world. [COVID-19]
However, I still like to celebrate in style… So last weekend, I got myself dressed up in some super cool outfits. Even if we were not allowed to go out, I wanted to make ‘staying in’ look good!
It has become somewhat a trend to post my yearly birthday outfits, so I have followed suit with this post. It has lifted my spirits just getting a bit of make-up on and slipping into a few of these numbers. 🙂
Below are my birthday outfit choices for this year, so let me know which is your favourite!
“Staying in, is the new going out!”
Outfit number one, this glittery, baby pink dress. With an asymmetric shape, it is very different to your average evening attire. A little risky with a cut across the torso, one for the daring type. One arm is sleeveless, in opposite to the full sleeve arm as shown in the picture.

“Why go out when you could stay at home with a fancy glass of wine?”
With isolation regulations in place, having a celebration drink at home was our only option, but it didn’t stop me from getting dolled up! Below is an iridescent purple and blue bodysuit. This piece is also a little daring with a deep plunge at the front and see-through puffed sleeves. The material was comfortable and secure.

“Looking good on the outside means you will also feel good on the inside.”
A tight fitted, cuffed crop top with mesh sleeves. Very cute and different to many of the other crop tops out there. This piece is in black but there are other colour choices too. This one seemed quite classy, yet sexy.

Even with lockdown procedures on the schedule, we still were in party mode. What is a birthday without celebrating?
To pair with my bodysuit and crop top, I was given these high-waisted, faux leather look leggings. They would suit almost every other piece and is a firm staple for the wardrobe. These were a tight fit, great for the rock-chick look.

I am wearing a size 10 in all items of clothing. I like a tight fit, so if you are wanting a more relaxed feel, I would advise going a size up.
